The philosophy at the heart of UNIO is to welcome every women’s team registered with the UCI (World Tour or Continental) in a democratic, modern and efficient organisation. This philosophy is reflected by the Statutes of UNIO, which give the greatest freedom, power and flexibility to all the members.
At UNIO, we wish to have all the teams actively on board and to represent the interests of every team. UNIO is thus an organisation within which the members are expected to raise and discuss various topics and where the concrete solution will be proposed and decided.
In that sense, the Statutes of UNIO guarantee that every member will have the same rights and opportunities and will be treated equally. There are indeed no differences between the members of UNIO, as each member will have the right to:
- make proposals to improve the implementation of the objectives of UNIO;
- raise and discuss all topics and propose concrete solutions;
- speak and vote at the meetings of the General Assembly;
- propose and elect candidates for the Managing Committee.
In order to become a Member of UNIO, we invite you to complete and sign the Membership Application Form and to send it with the supporting documents to t.campana@unio.team.
